No way, that's awesome man, James Paick is one of my favourite artists. The CGSociety course is really good, learning a lot of new techniques which is really helping improve my workflow and speed!

That's great! It's good when you feel rewarded in a class!
I always feel scared with CGS community and classes, there are too much pro guys there! lol!
I would love to take Feng Zhu School class, did you know him? But poor bastards like myself would have to give a body part to afford that, lol!
His youtube tutorials are reaaaaally helping me. if you don't know it yet, u should check it dude!

I hear you man although you're stuff is way above what I'm producing so it should be a breeze for you! :) Feng Zhu is honestly one of the most talented guys I've seen. Seen a few of his videos yeah - taught me a lot. Always learning! Take it easy.

The one critique I might make is that I can't quite be sure where this is taking place. The large planetary body in the background makes me think this is in space, but the warm hues of color make me think there is some kind of atmosphere. I think I can make out some clouds in the very bottom of the image, so again I'm thinking cloud city or some kind of ship in high altitude, but the conflicting schemes leave me unsure. The best images always convey a direct meaning with no confusion--but I still love your bold strokes excellent technique.

yeah it is supposed to be high up in the sky. Planet was an afterthought to be fair - thought that area of sky would look empty otherwise. Just think of it as a very large moon or something!
